Labor Day weekend is right around the corner! To ensure you have the best holiday break possible, we’ve found some of the finest Red Bank Labor Day events and activities in the area. Take a look below! (Seriously, there’s something for everyone this September.)
Sip a Drink at the BBQ and Craft Beer Festival
Head to Monmouth Park Race Track for one of the best local Red Bank festivals of the season. The BBQ and Craft Beer Festival runs all through Labor Day weekend and features delicious food, tasty drinks, live music, and more. For adults, the festival serves over 40 beers. For kids, free family activities on Saturday and Sunday should be more than enough entertainment.
General admission to the festival is $5 for adults and free for children under 12. Gates open at 11:30 am on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday of Labor Day weekend.
Free Yourself from an Escape Room
Escape Rooms have swept the country over recent years, and Red Bank is in on the action. Get a group of friends together to participate in this adventurous yet challenging game of cat-and-mouse. You’ll need all your wits about you to complete the puzzles that will free you from the room.
The Red Bank Escape Room features six different games, and there’s another location in Morristown, just a short drive from our Nissan dealer in Red Bank. Tickets are $35 per person.
Shop the Farmer’s Market
Head to the Red Bank Farmer’s Market on Sunday for locally grown produce and unique crafts. With such delightful food for sale, you won’t be able to resist picking up something for the grill. After you’ve shopped, visit one of the nearby food trucks; you won’t want to miss them!
The Farmer’s Market opens at 9:00 am and closes at 2:00 pm. The market is located within miles of our Red Bank Nissan dealership at the Galleria’s parking lot on Bridge Avenue.
Enjoy a Day on the Water
Labor Day weekend marks the unofficial end of summer. With the kids going back to school soon, take this opportunity to spend time together on the water. Rent a boat or a few kayaks for a fun outdoor activity the whole family will enjoy. If Red Bank’s river isn’t beach-like enough, take a short drive east past Eatontown and head toward Monmouth Beach for that true ocean feel.
Visit the World’s Biggest 50’s Party
For a Labor Day weekend unlike any other, head north to Parsippany for Lead East, a giant five-day celebration of oldies music and vintage cars. This year’s festival highlights the 1950’s, and if you love vintage cars, this festival is not to be missed. It’s heralded as the largest car event in the tristate area. Not a car lover? Don’t worry; Lead East ensures there’s something fun for everyone.
General one-day admission to this antique auto show and party is $20 for adults and $15 for children aged 12-17. Full weekend passes are also available.
