The New Nissan Leaf 2018 Is Coming!

Here at Melloy Nissan, we are excited to introduce the upcoming 2018 Nissan Leaf! Nissan’s all-electric car has even more range than ever before at 150 miles. This is because of the innovative 40-kWh lithium-ion battery pack, which has boosted the 2017 model’s range by 43 miles. And charging times are astonishing: In just 30 minutes of charging, you can add 90 miles of range.

Musclebound Little Charmer

It has more power than the earlier models, as well. The Leaf offers instant acceleration with 147 horsepower and 100% use of torque right off the line. Nissan engineers claim to have redesigned the control software, which now allows for substantially more power and control. The 2018 model offers 40 more horsepower than the 2017 Leaf, though both remain at the top of the EV class.

Sexy Compact Style

Nissan has also changed the look of the 2018 Leaf to make it sleeker, slimmer, and sultrier, even surpassing the amazing appeal of last year’s model. Plus, they’ve added more insulation, an acoustic windshield and considerably revitalized computer system to make your ride opulent yet efficient.

Nissan e-Pedal

The ’18 Leaf also features a new e-Pedal, which works like magic to engage the brakes more efficiently than a traditional braking mechanism. This amazing and innovative safety feature is standard on the 2018 model. Speaking of safety features, for a little extra, you can also add on the Pro-Pilot Assist to your new Leaf. This newfangled pedal will bring the car to a complete stop at traffic lights, which is great for Albuquerque rush hour. This incredible option comes alongside intelligent cruise control and lane-centering systems, which allow you to both follow the car ahead of you at a preset distance and swerve back into your lane after you inadvertently drop a glob of ketchup on your tie.
