You’ve got things to do, places to be, people to see. Ah! Such is the life of a busy do-it-all-er. And there’s no better vehicle to make your life easier than a compact SUV. If you’re in the market for a convenient new crossover, the 2018 Chevy Equinox is on dealers’ lots across the U.S. now. With a peppier engine and other core design improvements compared to previous versions, this new Equinox rates as the pick of its class.

Equinox-vs-Escape

Just saying that doesn’t mean much, of course. Let’s put it up against one of its close competitors, the 2018 Ford Escape, to see how the numbers stack up for each vehicle.

Chevrolet Announces the 2019 Silverado at the 2018 Detroit Auto Show

Chevrolet kicked things off at the 2018 NAIAS event with its official introduction of the all-new 2019 Chevy Silverado, which is an astounding 450 pounds lighter than its predecessor thanks to the ingenious use of mixed materials — steel and aluminum, specifically. That translates into better fuel efficiency.

Another first? The 2019 Silverado will be available with a Duramax 3.0-liter turbo-diesel engine (options for the Silverado 1500 HD and Silverado medium-duty, which will be revealed in March). Two other engines will also be available — 5.3-liter and 6.2-liter V8s with industry-first technology that can disable up to seven cylinders when not needed, which would significantly improve fuel efficiency.

But power isn’t all the 2019 Silverado has.

Let’s take a closer look at what the 2018 Traverse brings to the table.

Exterior Styling & Interior Comfort

The new Traverse looks like its big brother Tahoe, only a bit slimmer. Looks can be deceiving, however, as the Traverse actually has a longer wheelbase than the Tahoe, believe it or not. Fit and trimmed down, the new Traverse also looks athletically gifted, as well. Continue Reading →

Do Critics Love the 2017 Chevy Tahoe? (Spoiler: Absolutely!)

Big. Bigly. Bigliest. The all-new 2017 Chevy Tahoe is a more than capable people shipper and boat hauler. Built on the Silverado truck platform, the Tahoe is a balanced ride, offering a max trailering limit of 8,600 pounds, 94.7 cubic-foot cargo area (to the first row), and an 8-passenger seating capacity with enough head- and legroom to match. Could that by why it’s one of the best-reviewed full-size SUVs on the market? Let’s see what the critics have to say about this bona fide star of the SUV world.

Kelley Blue Book Shows the Tahoe Love

“The 2017 Tahoe is no dinosaur. Chevy pulled out all the stops in technology, style and performance, and the result pushes the limits of what is possible with this type of architecture.”

Dominating the SUV market comes easy to the Tahoe, almost as if “#winning” were woven into its DNA. Its style, passenger space, and new-age tech makes it a must-buy crossover whose truck-like traits are an added perk. And KBB.com agrees, stating that it’s “a pleasure to live with the big fella, whether you’re just picking the kids up from school, or towing your boat to the lake for a weekend of fun.” Continue Reading →
