4) St. Louis Symphony Performs Harry Potter
Sept. 9 – 11 at Powell Hall
The critically acclaimed St. Louis Symphony promises a magical evening – quite literally – as the orchestra performs John William’s bewitching score from the hit movie “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone.” Enjoy the movie on a huge HD screen and hear this unforgettable soundtrack like you never have before.
5) 23rd Annual St. Louis Art Fair
Friday, Sept. 9 -11 at Center of Clayton
This can’t miss event is one of the highlights of the fall season in St. Louis. More than 180 top artists from around the country will converge at the Center of Clayton. This family friendly event features educational activities for kids, as well as delicious culinary treats from some of St. Louis’ finest restaurants.
6) Big Muddy Blues Festival
Labor Day Weekend at Historic Laclede’s Landing
The Blues is part of the soul of St. Louis. Come out and hear the top virtuosos of Blues perform at the birthplace of St. Louis along the mighty Mississippi River.
7) 7th Annual LouFest Music Festival
Sept. 10 & 11 at Forest Park
LouFest brings together dozens of top artists on 3 stages for a high-energy weekend of sonic sights and sounds. Enjoy performances by LCD Soundsystem, Chris Stapleton, Ms. Lauryn Hill, the legendary Buddy Guy, top local artists, and more. Plus delve into delicious food and drink at the Nosh Pit. 8) Annual Best of Missouri Market
Sept. 30 – Oct. 2 at the Missouri Botanical Garden

9) Maplewood’s Shakespeare In The Streets
Sept. 16 – 18
As part of the Shakespeare Festival in St. Louis community outreach program, Shakespeare in the Streets brings an original play based on some of The Bard’s most well-known works to local communities. The play’s themes reflect the local character of the neighborhood. Performances are free.
10) Twilight Tuesday Concerts At The Missouri History Museum
Tuesdays, through Sept. 27
Enjoy an eclectic mix of jazz, reggae, country, and rock every Tuesday evening on the north lawn of the Missouri History Museum in Forest Park. The events are free.
