The electric power steering system that uses a 32-bit microprocessor to deliver a more refined steering wheel. The system will retain Hyundai’s Driver Selectable Steering Mode that features a “Sport” setting to take advantage of the updated microprocessor. In addition to enhanced steering, suspension enhancements will increase wheel bearing stiffness and lower control arm bushing stiffness. These enhancements will increase the overall lateral stiffness while revised rear suspension geometry and bushings will increase lateral stiffness.

The amount of options available in the Santa Fe is a definite bonus as Hyundai offers front- or all-wheel drive and seating options for five, six or seven passengers. With the Santa Fe Sport, you have the option of an efficient 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine or the powerful and turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine. The Santa Fe uses the 3.3-liter Lambda II V-6. All Santa Fe models have a standard six-speed automatic transmission. The innovative Hands-Free Smart Liftgate with Auto Open is available on all models. This system makes it easier for owners to gain access to the trunk space while their hands are full. Simply wait for the liftgate to open after standing within a few feet of the rear bumper with the key fob in your purse or pocket. The Santa Fe Sport will also have the option to be equipped with a power liftgate for the first time.

Some of the new standard features for both the Santa Fe and the Santa Fe Sport include daytime running lights, a blind spot mirror, and automatic up/down front passenger power window. Standard safety equipment includes Vehicle Stability Management with Electronic Stability Control and Traction Control System, seven airbags, four-wheel disc brakes, and ABS with Electronic Brake-force Distribution and Brake Assist, Hill-start Assist Control with Downhill Brake Control, and a Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS).

The 2015 Santa Fe will be arriving at Jim Hudson Hyundai soon!
