Dickens At The Crosley Estate Theater, Dec. 8 – 10, 11-13, 15 – 17, and 18 -20
Immerse yourself in the grandeur of this magnificent estate as the entire mansion becomes the backdrop for a remarkable re-enactment of this beloved classic. Powel and Gwendolyn Crosley portray Charles and Catherine Dickens as the performance moves from room to room.

Holiday Nights At Ca’ d’Zan, Dec. 10 and 17
The magnificent Ringling Mansion once again decks itself out in stunning holiday splendor, opening its doors to the public during this festive season. Marvel to the many opulent holiday decorations, including a 10-ft. tall Christmas Tree in the Grand Court.

30th Annual Sarasota Christmas Boat Parade Of Lights, Dec. 12
This popular annual tradition returns to Bay Front Park with a dazzling parade of inventive illuminated boats. This year, the parade route expands to the southwest side of Bay Front Park. The best places to view this spectacular event are at Bay Front Park, Marina Jack Restaurant, City Island, and Centennial Park.

Holly Days & Mangrove Lights at the Historic Spanish Point, Dec. 15 -31
Stroll through captivating displays of holiday lights and festive holiday decorations.

4th Annual Jingle 5K Run/Walk, Dec. 18
The Lakewood Ranch hosts a fun 5K Walk for all ages. Strap some jingle bells and lighted flashers on your shoes to get into the holiday spirit. Enjoy holiday music along the course and a big post-race party. The first 2,500 runners receive a commemorative Leslie Jordan T-shirt.

Sarasota Ballet’s “Circus Nutcracker,” Dec. 18 – 19
The critically acclaimed Sarasota Ballet and Sarasota Orchestra present a unique interpretation of this timeless classic. With performances at the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall, this enchanting production injects the history of John and Mable Ringling into the story for a remarkable experience.

5th Annual “Snow Fest Sarasota!” Dec. 18 -20
Payne Park in Sarasota is the center of all the holiday fun as once again Snow Fest Sarasota comes to town with all sorts of exciting holiday activities for the entire family – including playing in real snow! Enjoy giant slides, pony rides, pictures with Santa, snowman building, a giant snow globe, kids’ amusement area, and live entertainment.

Selby Gardens 12th Annual “Lights In Bloom” Celebration, Dec. 18 – 23
For the 12th straight year, the beautiful Selby Gardens decks itself for the holidays with more than a half-million twinkling lights and unique displays. This year, you can check out the massive Tunnel of Lights which takes you on an unforgettable journey from the tropics to the North Pole. You’ll also enjoy interactive photo ops, traditional holiday music, and food & beverages.

Christmas On Bridge Street, Dec. 19
The Bridge Street Market on Anna Maria Island in Bradenton celebrates with a festive holiday event for the entire family. Enjoy live holiday entertainment, kids’ crafts and cookie bazaar, a visit with Santa, and the Island’s tallest Christmas Tree.

A Christmas Carol, Dec. 23
The Nebraska Theater Caravan offers a unique version of this classic Dickens holiday tale at the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall. Traditional Christmas carols, special effects, and spectacular period costumes make this a glorious event that shouldn’t be missed.

Christmas At Selby Five Points Park, Dec. 24
The Shore Church welcomes one and all to experience a moving and inspiring Christmas Eve event with music, lights and a telling of the Christmas Story. Main Street will be closed to accommodate the more than 1,000 expected visitors who plan on attending one of Sarasota’s biggest holiday events.

“A Motown Christmas,” Through Dec. 31
The Westcoast Black Theater in Sarasota proudly presents this world premiere holiday event featuring the classic Motown sounds of Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, The Supremes, and the Jackson 5. This electrifying production is sure to be a most memorable holiday event. Then, join your friends as we celebrate the New Year after the final performance on Dec. 31st with a spectacular upbeat after-party with music, dancing, food, and fun for all.

Annual Downtown Sarasota New Year’s Eve “Pineapple Drop,” Dec. 31
Downtown Sarasota rings in the New Year with a spectacular event that features live bands on four stages, carnival rides, dozens of food vendors, and much more. This is one of Sarasota’s biggest holiday events.

Downtown Bradenton’s Annual “Main Street Live” New Year’s Eve Party, Dec. 31
This is Downtown Bradenton’s big holiday event featuring lots of New Year’s excitement. Festivities include a Midnight Ball Drop, live music, and food vendors.

Experience New Year’s Eve At Selby Gardens, Dec. 31
This dazzling and sophisticated black tie event features a seated dinner, champagne welcome, entertainment, and fireworks.

Ca’ d’Zan New Year’s Eve Party, Dec. 31
