3) Elf The Broadway Musical
The Gallo Center For The Arts Nov. 17 & 18 at 6:30 p.m.
Get ready to chuckle your way into the holidays with this delightful and spirited musical based on the hit 2013 movie starring Will Farrell. Follow the misadventures of Buddy as he tries to find his true identity while helping others discover the meaning of Christmas.
4) A Christmas Carol
The Gallo Center For The Arts, Nov 27th at 7:30 p.m.
Modesto’s oldest theater company presents this well-known holiday classic penned by Charles Dickens. Will stingy Ebenezer Scrooge continue to mock Christmas, or will the ghosts of Christmas Past, Present, and Future soften his heart?
5) Frozen Sing-A-Long
State Theater, Nov.28th at 2 p.m.
An instant animated classic, Disney’s Frozen has captured the hearts of millions with its optimistic story filled with adventure, comedy, and hope. This sing-along version of the 2013 Disney hit features the award-winning soundtrack, and Oscar-winning hit Let It Go, sung by superstar Idina Menzel. The whole family is sure to enjoy this magical afternoon.
6) The McHenry Mansion’s Annual Dickens Faire Festival
McHenry Mansion, at the Corner of 15th & I Streets, Dec. 5th
This event marks the start of the Christmas season the first Saturday in December. Travel back in time and tour the historic McHenry Mansion with docents costumed in period dress. Free children’s activities take place down the street at the McHenry Museum. Additionally, the street in front of the mansion is blocked off for a variety of vendor booths, including food, crafts, and other items. 7) City Of Modesto’s Annual Holiday Parade & Celebration Of Lights
Downtown Modesto, Dec. 5th
Kick off the 2015 Christmas holidays with Modesto’s annual holiday extravaganza. The Celebration of Lights includes Breakfast with Santa, live entertainment, tree-lighting ceremony and many other festive activities for the entire family. 10) Mannheim Steamroller Christmas Concert

This critically acclaimed and much-awarded musical group takes you on a sonic sleigh ride with their unique music celebrating the holiday season.
11) Modesto Symphony Orchestra Holiday Pops! Concert

Join Modesto’s premier musical organization as they welcome Broadway singer Alli Mauzey to the stage performing all your holiday favorites. The talented Modesto Symphony Orchestra Chorus and Expression Youth Choir lend their talented voices to this traditional holiday musical event.
12) Holiday Candlelight Concert
St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, Dec. 15th At 7 p.m.
The Modesto Symphony Orchestra and Chorus, along with the Expressions Youth Choir perform traditional holiday hymns in this beautiful church setting. You are invited to sing along as we celebrate the coming of Christmas at this very special event.
